F-Troop - Monday 12th February 2018

One of our new projects that materialised through the week


Today the F-Troopers were very busy cleaning up after wind damage around the course with several large branches that had to be dealt with.

On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Steve Hogg, Garry Trigg, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Andy Henebury, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today was mainly cleaning up around the course including removal of two large branches, loose timber and rubbish around the course, tree and shrub maintenance, hedge maintenance, cleaning of the bush toilets, watering the greenspace gardens and roundabout garden at the 14th, watering the 4th tee hedge, adding mulch to the 6th tee gardens, new door for the bush toilets prepared for painting, watering the pots at the 6th, bike garden & ladies 9th tee, trimming the shrubs on the 6th native garden and tidying the 6th tranquility garden, 13th ladies garden watered, gardens at the 12th green watered, a start made on tidying up the Ladies 13th tee garden, tidy the steps at the Ladies 3rd tee, watered the gardens at the 1st and 10th tee, watered the Xanadu garden, preparing more firewood for our winter sales.

We have noted that the Bunya Pines are still falling - so be cautious when retrieving your golf balls in these areas.

We were happy to get to our morning tea break which was appreciated as the morning had warmed up somewhat.  As usual our morning tea of iced and savoury buns were appreciated after a hard morning's work. Thank you Barto!
