All back to it's former glory

Water feature garden tidied up

Gardens at the 1st and 10th tidied up and watered.

We had 11 volunteers today with plenty of projects to keep us busy.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Warren Gray, Garry Trigg, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin

The misfortune of having the sandstone birdbath overturned over the weekend was increased by the discovery that the Greenshed was broken into over the weekend with multiple power tools other items stolen.  Even stranger, the mirror garden feature in our BBQ garden was also stolen which leads us to believe the birdbath may have been on the list. We are guessing it was probably too heavy for them to move. The low life have been at it again - something our club does not need at this time.

The tree gang  of Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge and Garry Trigg removed nuisance Camphor Laurel trees at the 16th fairway.

Warren Gray and Rob Benson worked together on rubbish pick up and removed leaves and debris from the clubhouse gutters.

Peter Martin and Don Nicholls worked on marking out the car parking areas, helped trim some shrubs at the 6th native garden, removed rubbish from the car park and gardens.

Anne Burgess worked around the clubhouse gardens, cleaning up the BBQ area and gardens.

Di Beechey and Carolyn Buttsworth worked around the clubhouse and also the native garden at the 6th, trimming shrubs and weeding.

I worked on the gardens at the 1st and 10th, the Ladies 3rd Tee, the Bush Toilet area at the 14th, watered the gardens at the 1st and 10th and trimmed some of the trees.

Morning Tea of pancakes with lemon, sugar and choices of jams honey etc as well as assorted fresh fruits was appreciated by all the F-Troopers after a hard morning's work.  Thank you Chef Alice!

After morning tea the troopers restored the birdbath to it's original position - thankfully no damage was done to the sandstone during its fall.
