Today was the second round of the "Teams Series" sponsored by "RETIREINVEST" Gosford.
This series is a very popular event well supported by our members.
Our playing partners today were Doug Incoll and Helen Stuart and we had a great fun day out on the village green. The wind got the blame for all our bad shots but we did have some good highlights along the way - the best of which was the girls winning the Keno ticket from the boys.
Our team (Ian Mitchell and Iris Talbot) did well with Ian scoring a very commendable 40 points (following up after a previous day score of 38 points) and Iris chiming in with a 33, Peter 35 and 40 points from me brought us in at the top score to be beaten on a countback by the winners and runners up. At least that has us at a fighting distance for the third and final round.

The 3rd and final of the Team Series will be held on Sunday 27th September 2009. It will be hotly contested by all the entrants and this event will be followed by a dinner dance at the clubhouse so don't forget to get your tables organised & be ready to celebrate this great event.
