8th Tee hedged, Mowed, raked and weeded - looking good

Round about garden at the 15th tee weeded and trimmed

Rubbish picked up at the 15th tee and all the agapanthus trimmed at the 6th, 14th and 15th

More rubbish taken out of the back of the 14th green and the Mens 15th tee
We could not fit that on our cart - yet to be picked up

OMG - just some of the rubbish picked up today

Our warrior F-Trooper Bev Way today came in early and cleaned up the front car park and picked up multiple rubbish from around the course including the 18th tee and also including tying up the rose bushes and removing dying branches of the tree fern on the 10th. This is Bev’s cart with the leaf blower, multiple tools and plants together with pots that will find new homes.

We had eleven volunteers today which was great considering it is still Holliday time.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, Frank Potter, John Hollebon, Bev Way, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were mainly to get as much loose timber and rubbish off the course that we could after the wild winds of the weekend; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, leaf blowing of the front car park and back of the clubhouse; clean up of the 18th paths and gardens; clean up of the 8th tee gardens and tee including hedging, raking and blowing; dead heading of agapanthus from the back of the 5th tee including weeding of the garden; 14th bush toilets and  15th Mens tees; tidy up and pick up of loose timber around the 14th bush toilets; weeding of the back of the Mens 15th tee including dead heading of agapanthus; partially weeding the Mens 15th tee garden; weeding and trimming the streletzias  at the Round about garden at the 15th tee; securing the rose bushes at the front of the clubhouse; removing dying branches of the fern tree at the 10th tee.

We had a big day out on the course and we all appreciated morning tea of fresh sandwiches.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
