We had a beautiful day for golf at the Village Green today. Our playing partners were Paul Scholberg & Rosalie Dyer (with Duncan Dyer as our cheer squad). We did have some highlights along the way the best of which was Paul Scholberg's putt from the back of the 9th green into the hole - a great putt!.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + Team Four person Waltz.
We had 63 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Paul Scholberg's great putt into the hole from the back of the green; Rosalie Dyer had 6/2 on the 10th after a penalty; Peter Martin had a great 9 iron shot to the pin on the 9th; Clyde Cruickshanks had birdies on the 2/16/18th; Col Matterson had birdies on the 5th and the 15th; Lyn Cruickshank had 3/4 on the 12th; Lauren Matterson played steady golf for her 37 points; Wally Robertson enjoyed a 4 pointer on the 9th for a par; Carolyn Buttsworth played a steady game after recovering from illness; Paul Way had a birdie on the 8th; George Foster's highlight was squaring with the girls on the 18th for the Keno ticket; Melanie Forster parred the 10th and birdies the 11th; Michael Cheetham chased a crow on the 13th and retrieved a stolen ball; Joyce Bosley played 18 holes for the first time in months and enjoyed good company; my highlight was enjoying good company and squaring with the boys on the 18th for the Keno ticket.
