SENIORS PENNANTS:
The 2023 Senior Pennants were competed on the weekend following a few months of no covid and no rain delays. Gosford played its final match at Wyong Golf Course against Breakers. The match was played in a very good spirit and all enjoyed the day.
Gosford A grade had the bye and finished the year with 3 wins. They lost a few matches in close contests and could have finished in the top 3 with a few more match points.
Gosford B grade had a 4/0 win against Breakers and this was enough to secure the Pennant for a third consecutive year. They had 6 wins from 8 matches and tied on 12 points with Shelly Beach and Toukley but won the Pennant on match points. Well done to the team.
Gosford C grade had 5 wins from 8 matches after a strong win on the weekend 2.5/1.5. They finished 3rd on count back to very strong teams form Wyong and Kooindah waters.
Our Juniors also had a great year finishing 3rd on countback. We have a young team and they are improving with every match. Blayne was undefeated in this years series. Thanks to Richard Brien for managing the team and to all the parents for their support.
