I took a break from golf today to rest my "tennis elbow" problem which seemed a very good idea when the rain started this morning. It seemed that others thought the same thing as there were only 19 brave starters today to play in our Team Stableford Event. Thankfully the day cleared and it was not too bad in the finish.

I was not at the club in time to get photos or highlights of the day but I am sure there would have been some.
A big thank you to Jakob from Narara Valley Nursery who made his time available to us by giving us some good horticultural advice regarding the trees and gardens throughout the course.
Jakob spent the best part of three hours today inspecting parts of the course with us where we needed some urgent advice and also gave us some recommendations for suitable trees, plants and shrubs. It is very important that we get the right selection for the golf course so we can have a properly structured plan to get our course eventually to top class. It is also equally important that we do not select trees and plants that will cause future problems.
I would also like to acknowledge the members who have gone out of their way to compliment the F-Troop for their contributions towards the beautification of the course. Our F-Troop are doing an exeptional job and their efforts are becoming evident.
Thank You! It is very nice that there are members out there that do notice and appreciate the difference.
