Cold, windy and WET at Gosford today and the Golf course was not a great place to be but we stuck it out and completed our match against Everglades. It was important for them to have a win as they were a chance to go through to the finals so the match needed to be played.
It was a close match and at the end of the day the match was All square so in hindsight we could have agreed to a draw before the start. Great win to Michael Sissons who played his first game of Pennants today. Michel won 5 and 4.
I would like to thank all the boys that played this year. They were very competitive and showed a great deal of sportsmanship. I would also like to thank all our opponents as they were friendly and a pleasure to play. All our matches were very enjoyable and we are all looking forward to next year.
