Now in a new place in front of the ex-wedding garden
All of the Xanadu plants now in place around the trees
In the wood chip area at the 8th tee
It was a cool start this morning but it did not take long to warm us up once we were moving on our projects.
On hand today we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Peter Martin, Geoff Hulls, Rob Benson, Chris Foster, Steve Robinson, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing and Sam Knox.
Projects worked on were Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up, firewood preparation, firewood delivery, hedge maintenance, tree maintenance, clean up around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, putting green and wedding garden paths and practice nets, moving of the Xanadu Plants from the. 3rd temporary home to the 8th wood chipped area including adding garden soil and watering them in, moving the course conditions board from the 1/10th tee area to the front of the wedding garden area.
We found some nice sunshine to enjoy our morning tea which was appreciated.
We welcomed another new volunteer today - Geoff Hulls. Thanks for your time Geoff.
