We were lucky enough to miss most of the wet weather with just a small amount of sprinkles which was not enough to bring out the wet gear. Our playing partners today were Judy Ruitenberg and Mona Maher who were great company and we did enjoy some good highlights - the best of which was my 86 metre shot into the hole at the 2nd for 5/4 followed by a lot of noise and celebration.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Women.
We had 74 starters with 4 visitors from Wakehurst, Wyong, Terrigal and Howlong.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Neville Walker had a 3 pointer on the 18th; Jan Walker had a 4/4 on the 4th; Denise Granhall enjoyed her day; Jim Henry had 4 x 3 pointers; Kay Baillie had a 3 pointer on the 1st and 5/4 on the 2nd; Anne Forrester parred the 17/8/18th - 7 points in 2 holes and happily the thunderstorm missed us: Mona Maher came good on the 2nd nine holes scoring 21 points including 2 pars in a row; Judy Ruitenberg parred the 14th,15th and 16th; Peter Martin parred the 19th and 18th; my highlights were scoring over 30 points two weeks in a row, winning the day with 39 points with the best highlight being a 86 metre shot to the green into the hole at the 2nd for 5/4.
