We had a wet start to our morning and eventually took an early mark for morning tea after getting some work done.
It was great to see 10 volunteers willing to come in inclement weather. On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Steve Hogg, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Steve Robinson, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, tidy up of the build up of weeds in the ex-Ladies garden at the 13th, removal of weed from the dams, clean up around the clubhouse, paths to the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, tidy up of front street garden, cleaned the lights under the clubhouse, cleaned the bush toilets, tidied the 6th tranquility garden and partly weeded the 5th green garden.
We were all cold and wet so morning tea was appreciated and included a minI celebration of Duncan Dyer’s recent birthday.
