 The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + Medley 2BBB Team.

We had 78 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF TH DAY as reported to me: Leonie Kelly had a great 43 points including a birdie on the 17th; Melanie Forster had 37 points; Kay Baillie had 3/4 on the 12th; Rhonda Robertson had 6 pars; Kerry Williams had 6/3 on the 18th; Geraldine Turner's drive hit the flag on the 14th; Lyn Bates had a nice day; Rosalie Dyer had a birdie on the 2nd; Paul Scholberg's finishing holes 16/17/18 - wipe, wipe, wipe; Paul Smith's finishing holes on the 16/17/18 was an improved player;
Kath Payn had no wipes;  Helen Smith had 4/4 on the 17th; Owen James had a 4 pointer on the 18th; Gary Smith had 4/4 on the 9th; Julie Hazzard was an improved player; Arthur Collien had a nice 36 points; Spencer Walklate played a steady game for his 39 points; Clyde Cruickshanks had a birdie on the 5th; Lyn Cruickshanks chipped in on the 7th for a 4 pointer; Dick Bosley had 37 points; Col Matterson had birdies on the 12th and 18th; Kevin O'Brien had 38 points with a chip in on the 12th; Lorraine Bignall had birdies on the 2nd and the 17th; Chris Drakeford had a par; Kerry Rose won a ball; Jason Rose had 6/7 pars; Anthony Birkman's highlight was Jason Rose's long putt on the 14th for par; Roslyn Birkman enjoyed her first competition game at Gosford.
