Brrrrr!!!! a Chilly start to our F-Troop projects today - someone mentioned 4 degrees at 6.30am.
We toughed it out until the sun came out and then it was a pleasant day in the sunshine.

On hand we had our stalwarts: Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Garry Trigg, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, Steve Hogg, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Andy Henebury, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

Our projects worked on today were tree maintenance where required, splitting of firewood, delivery of firewood, Rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, tidy up around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees and Wedding Garden, tidy up of the garden at the back of the 5th green; tidy up of the garden on the right hand side of the 2nd green; cleaning of the bush toilets; clean up of the drain on the 14th tee; staking up plants in the greenspace and clean up of the garden; tidy up of the recently planted agapanthus on the back of the 14th green that have been down trodden by members walking through the gardens instead of using the path; tidy up of the tranquility garden on the 6th tee including watering the pots; a start made on weeding the 6th native garden along the creek; watering the bike garden; watering the garden on the ladies 9th tee; watering the potted Mandevilla on the 9th green; removal of rubbish from the palm trees on the 14th green.

We all enjoyed our morning tea in the sunshine today which was enhanced by an additional date loaf by Di Beechey and a Hazelnut Slice by Angelique Scholberg (see what you are missing out on by not participating in F-Troop projects).

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
