F-Troop - Monday 29th August 2016

Today was day one of the course greens maintenance so we were restricted in our use of the course.

That gave us an opportunity to go out and collect some treated pine timber that was donated to F-Troop by Alan and Marianne Lanham.

On hand today we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Phil Harrison (Trevor's brother), Kevin O'Brien, Geoff Bridge, Steve Hogg, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, Sam Knox, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Today's completed projects were dismantling a treated pine garden bed, moving and storing the treated pine timber at the course to be used for future replacement of garden edges around the course; hedges trimmed on the 10th; watering, weeding and tidying up around the clubhouse, wedding garden, 1st and 10th tees; cleaning the bush toilets; tidying up the gardens at the 14th green space and the 6th tranquility garden, watered the pots at the 6th, bike garden, 9th tee, 9th green, made a start on weeding and tidying up the 17th dog leg garden.

We all were ready for morning tea after a hard mornings work.  Thank you Barto for our treats that we look forward to.

Thank you to Alan and Marianne for their generous donation of the treated pine.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
