HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Rae Brown had a lovely gobbler shot on the 2nd and 3/4 on the 8th; Graham Brown hit his drive on the 12th underneath a large bush in the garden on the left of the green, his second shot flew over the green to the electricity box at the back of the 12th green and then he went on to chip his 3rd shot into the hole for a fantastic par whilst suffering bleeding on his arm while scrambling for his ball under the bush; Peter Martin had a nice 36 points; David Small played well; Kathy Small had a gobbler; Ian Hartley had a gobbler while playing with the wrong club; John and Colleen Patton from West Wyalong enjoyed their game of golf today playing with Warren Gray and Mary Bromwich and the girls beat the boys for the Keno Ticket; Ron Dekker had 2/4 on the 5th and 5/2 on the 15th after being in the water; Clyde Cruickshanks chipped in on the 8th; Lorraine Bignall scored a nice 41 points; Kevin O'Brien birdied the 5th and the 18th; Brent Frewin had a birdie on the 13th; my only highlight of the day was scoring a 4 pointer at the 8th where my drive as 20 foot short of a hole-in-one.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We had some sad news this week hearing of the passing of Neil Orr who had been a long time playing Member of our club. Our deepest sympathy to Neil's family.

Australia Day this year falls on a Tuesday so there is going to be a Mixed Competition on that day which is traditionally Ladies Day.

On Friday 5th February there is going to be another Nine and Dine Evening for $25 per had which includes 9 holes of golf plus dinner after golf. This event has proved very popular in the past so get your group of four organised and booked in.
