We had a HUGE day at F -Troop today with twelve volunteers on hand to share the load.

On hand were Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, John. Hollebon, Steve Hogg, Di Beechey and Jan Martin

The boys were very versatile today managing to pick up rubbish at the 1st and 10th tees, emptied the garden bins, cut up and removed a large fallen tree at the 15th, picked up rubbish from around the course as well as helping out with the removal of kitchen equipment from the club kitchen.

John Hollebon put in an enormous effort trimming hedges at the 10th tee as well as the big hedge at the 18th Green.

Di Beechey worked hard cleaning out five garbage tins full of rubbish out of the wedding garden and around the putting green.

I worked at cleaning up at the 14th bush toilets, the 6th tranquility garden, the Ladies 3rd Tee, the garden at the Men's 10th tee and started on the retainer wall at the back of the 10th tee, found a home for some more donated elk horns at the 5th fairway and watered them in.

We all really appreciated morning tea from Di Beechey's kitchen - Chocolate Muffins and fruit cake. Thank you Di - you were a life saver!

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
