We are happy to say we found some sunshine to play golf in today. The course was well drained but heavy (as the scores indicate) and the mossies were intensively present and had us scrambling for the protective sprays.
My playing partners today were Anne Burke, Lorraine Linnert and Debbie Flanigan and we had a fun day with some highlights and laughs. We took a selfie photo when we joined up on the 14th now that Ellen DeGeneres has made it fashionable.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford 1st Round of the CCWGA Brooch + Veterans In Conjunction.
We had 65 starters with one visitor Cheryl Davidson (Howlong)

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Anne Burke enjoyed her ride in the cart and had some good 3 pointers; Lorraine Linnert had some nice drives; Marianne Lanham was happy with her back 9; Narelle Medcalf had a gobbler birdie from 90 feet at the 6th; Bev Adams had a birdie at the 8th with a good putt in; Jan Fitzgerald's highlight was beating Bev Adams on a countback; Rosemary Cohen, Marie Eddy and Jan Martin could have built a large picket fence with all of their one pointers (Jan contributed 12); Lynn Puiatti had an improved score from last Sunday;
Other Highlights:
It was good to see Joan Brierty call in and have lunch with her golf friends - nice to see you Joan and come often.
