With the rain continuing to fall overnight and more showers today - THE COURSE IS OPEN - BUT NO CARTS ALLOWED.
The forecast is for scattered showers easing throughout the day so all the keen players should be wearing their wet weather gear.
It seems that no one was willing to take on the bad weather this morning so there was no competition today due to insufficient players.
The weather did improve during the afternoon which we hope is a good sign. The forecast for the week is possible showers so let us hope is is just possible and not actual so we can get back on the village green - which is well watered and very green at the moment.
