There was no golf for the Ladies today after 66 mls of heavy rain falling overnight and a further 3.2 mls of light rain today. The course was closed for play and the 11th fairway was under water.
That was unfortunate as we are just kicking off our new year of golf.
Hopefully the rain will only be light and the course drainage will continue its good work for our golfers tomorrow.
We have predictions of 90% chance of 5 to 10 mls tomorrow with some sunshine early. Let it hopes that it picks on another area to fall on or at least be good enough to fall after golfing hours.
