Golf - Wednesday 27th June 2012

The Golf Event of the day was a Men's Single Par + 2 Ball Team.

We had 121 starters with 5 visitors from Everglades, Magenta Shores, Morisset & Shelly Beach. There were no carts allowed on the course due to the wet weather of yesterday.  Fortunately sunshine is forecast for tomorrow so the drying out process can begin.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me:  Brent Frewin hit his drive at the 3rd just short of the bunkers, then pulled out a 3 rescue club and set the ball neatly in the hole for a "Plus"  Eagle shot as it was a par match. (Pity about the 2/5 in a stableford game) Well done Brent! Must have been a super shot.
