It was a bit unfortunate that we had a few showers on the village green during the Ladies Competition Day but it was not enough to spoil the day.  We had visitors from the Wyong Golf Club today which was great to see and welcome to all the ladies attending today.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Aggregate including the Wyong Ladies.

We had 43 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me:  Michelle McGrath had a birdie on the 18th; Sue Hutton became a grandmother for the first time last Sunday following the birth of a beautiful baby girl "Sage" birth weight 9 lbs plus (photos attached); welcome back to Lesley Gregory after her holiday around Europe; welcome back to Norma (and Kerry) Cubis who have rejoined Gosford Golf Club this week - being Members of both Gosford and Wyong and will enjoy the best of both worlds - well done Norma & Kerry - it is nice to know that you never really left regardless of the farewells.
