We had a beautiful day for golf and the course is looking good. We have some warmer weather forecast so the course should be able to dry out really well & be in top condition.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stroke - WGNSW & Club Medal.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: My apologies for not being at presentation today - I was busy in the gardens getting ready for the Garden Competition - our gardens are being inspected & judged this Thursday - running for the "Best Commercial Garden" and "Best Theme Garden" on the Coast - so a bit of pressure there.
I did not have any highlights until I received some photo's from Margaret Maclachlan of Wendy Stapleton's highlight of the day. Thanks Margaret! It was a lovely day Wendy, but not quite hot enough for swimming!
We have laid all the donated carpet pieces on the 6th tee gardens to act as weed matting. I am now looking for more old carpet pieces that we can cut up & use in the gardens to save us from a lot of intensive weeding. We would appreciate any donations of carpet no matter how large or small.
