The Golf Club was really humming today with golfers and weddings and thankfully the weather held long enough for the golf and the garden weddings to be completed and everyone was snug and dry inside the clubhouse before the rain set in.
We had two weddings today in the Wedding Garden - one at 3 o'clock with a reception in the Sunset Room and one at 4 o'clock in the wedding garden (timed to perfection - one starting straight after the other had finished & the weather was still fine) with a reception in the Magnolia Room.
The Members had the links room for their after golf drinks where tray service was provided and complimentary hot chips for their inconvenience because of the 200 wedding guests in the main rooms.
The Golf Event of the day was a Men's Single Stableford over 3 grades.
We had 123 starters with 7 visitors from Ashlar, Killara. Oberon, PGA, Royal Sydney & Wyong.
The numbers being down once again because of overnight rain & threatening weather.

3RD: Mark Faulkner - 39 points on a countback
B GRADE:
WINNER: Michael Cheetham - 42 points on a countback
RUNNER UP: Liam Walker - 42 points o a countback
3RD: David Lenihan - 42 points
C GRADE:
WINNER: James Fahey - 45 points
RUNNER UP: John Richards - 40 points
3RD: Dave Wilson - 38 points on a countback
