Golf - Sunday 9th May 2010 - Mothers Day

We had the most wonderful day for golf today - blue sky and sunshine and the course in great condition. Being Mother's Day, the field was a little depleted due to Member's having other family commitments. Our playing partners today were Bruce & Gwen White & we had a very pleasant day out on the village green. The girls easily beat the boys for the keno ticket & both Gwen & I won a ball. The boys highlight was that I was down & out with a virus (but not enough to stop me from playing golf on such a nice day) and had lost my voice and could not speak, which seemed to have made their day.
The Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Women.
We had 74 starters with 2 visitors - Greg & Stephanie Rapmund from Mangrove Mountain.
