What a fantastic day we had for golf today. The weather was perfect all day with the rain holding off until we were all safely inside the clubhouse and the course was in lovely condition. If the putts did not go in today it was not the fault of the greens. Our playing partners today were Ron & Lynn Puiatti and we had many highlights, the best of which was the girls beating the boys for the keno ticket which won $80 & paid for dinner.
The event of the day was a 2 Ball Team + Single Stableford Mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 104 starters with one visitor from Tuggerah Lakes.

Jan Van Den Berg was the first to score his HOLE IN ONE at the 14th.
George Foster was next - also scoring his HOLE IN ONE at the 14th.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: After having two Holes in One scored today it made everything else pale into insignificance however Cyril Daly had 3/5 on the 7th; Anne Stimpson had 3/4 on the 8th; Lauren Matterson had 5/4 on the 3rd; Peter Martin had a birdie on the 15th; Ron Puiatti had a birdie on the 10th; Terry Bowditch had birdies at the 1st and the 12th; Ray Presdee saved the boys with a great putt to square for the Keno ticket, Ray also had 2/4 on the 5th with a great chip into the hole; Graham Brown scored two 4 pointers in a row; Joyce Bosley chipped in for 2/4 on the 8th; Chris Dekker scored 40 points and had 4 pointers at the 3rd and the 17th; Robin Brann had a 4 pointer at the 6th; Brett Frewin had a birdie on the 15th; Tania Burt had 4/4 at the 17th and 3/4 at the 8th; Vicki Foster's highlight was playing with "Mr. Wonderful"; my highlight was winning the nearest the pin at the 8th.
Other highlights today were three generations of the Bosley family playing together at Gosford (photo attached) - it is also Dick's birthday this week; Another special birthday this week is Bob Brann's 70th birthday tomorrow. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DICK & BOB!
