F-Troop - Monday 9th February 2009

There was a bit of relief from the hot weather today and I hope this is going to be followed up with much needed rain.
We had a good number of F-Troopers reporting for duty today and much was achieved. I have been in catch up mode after being away & could not spare much time today. I concentrated on the putting green area so did not get to see all the good work done today. Those F-Troopers that I saw were George Foster, Martin Gallagher, Clyde Cruickshanks, Duncan Dyer, Gary Sammons, Spencer Walklate, Warren Gray, Bert Brink, John Coddington, Garry Trigg and Arthur Verlander. My appologies to anyone that I missed seeing today.
Work completed today was trimming of the bouganvilleas on the 10th; clearing along the right hand side of the 16th; removal of tree branches, rough cutting, weeding the practice putting green garden, dead heading, spraying & fertilizing the iceberg roses; raking & weeding the path near the putting green, watering of plants.
Images attached: Trimming the bouganvilleas; clearing the right hand side of the 16th; removal of tree branches; colours of the crepe myrtles; Garry Trigg rough cutting; the graveyard.
