Well, winners are grinners and the smile is still on my face. I am due for a reality check tomorrow when I have to face up to my new handicap.

It was the final day of the championships and the weather stayed kind for most of the day. There were a few light showers later in the day but not enough to worry anybody as some good scores came in.

Highlights of the day as reported to me : Leonie Casey 2 pars on the day; Pam Witt had pars on the 12th & the 4th; Nerida Hancock had a birdie on the 15th; Jan Fitzgerald had an 89 off the stick; Linda Rogers had a birdie on the 15th; Wendy Stapleton birdied the 2nd two matches in a row; Margaret Davidson birdied 15th; Rita Gilmore had 5 on the 9th; Lyn Puiatti won nearest the pin on the 8th.
