F-Troop - Monday 16th December 2024.

Paths worked on today from the 1st to the 9th tee with gravel added and holes filled, and finished with a packa wacka supplied compliments of Bruce Binns.

Gardens at the 18th tee - our next project  for improvement 
A start made on weeding and clearing of garden


We had a fantastic day at F - Troop today with 15 volunteers turning up to help us with our projects.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, David Medcalf, Rob Benson, Mick Grant, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Bruce Binns, Bev Way, Leeanne Binns, Lyn Bates, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were upgrading of paths from the 1st to the 9th filling in holes and using the packer wacka supplied compliments of Bruce Binns which 🤞 will make a difference to the quality of our paths; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; watering of gardens at the 2nd ladies gardens and the 2nd fence line garden, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden including watering of pots; cleaning of the bush toilets; hedge maintenance around the course; weeding and watering of the 8th tee garden; weeding and tidying the 2nd tee Ladies Garden; Watering of the 18th tee garden; ; Mowing the 17th to the 18th tee gardens; a start made on weeding the fenced native grasses garden at the Men’s 18th Tee - this will be our ongoing projects to get this garden up to our expectations as it has been neglected for a long time - so we have some good plans to come for this garden; gardens weeded at the 17th and 16th lavender Gardens.


It was a hot day today so morning tea of fresh sandwiches was much appreciated.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
