Arborists working on the tree at the BBQ Garden

We had twelve volunteers today which was a big help towards completing some of our projects.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, Mick Grant, John Hollebon, Frank Potter, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Laurelle Freeman, Leeanne Binns and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were tree removal at the BBQ garden (working with the arborists); loose timber and rubbish pickup around the course; mulch out to the 7th tee garden; weeding and mulching the 7th tee garden; hedge maintenance; weeding the native garden at the 6th tee;  mowing the front of the garden at the cart sheds; replacing garden edges at the Cart Shed gardens.

We had light showers while we worked but it was not heavy enough to down tools.

We enjoyed morning tea of fresh sandwiches + cake supplied by John Hollebon (thanks John) after a very hard mornings work by everyone.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
