We had a beautiful day on the Golf Course today. The conditions are much improved with not a lot of wet areas around and thankfully some run re-emerging on the fairways plus the greens are much faster.
Our playing partners today were Grant and Kerry Williams who were, as usual, great company. I have not been out on the course for six weeks or so because of the wet conditions and I was happy to see the course drying out so that it is now playable. Our team came in 3rd place which impressed us. My bragging points today (after not playing for many weeks) was finishing with the same ball I started with, having a respectable score starting with a 3 and a must mention chip in shot into the hole at the 11th for a 5/4.
There was a lot of loose timber around the course brought down but the high winds yesterday including a large tree down on the 1st tee. A big clean up job to be done.
