The course was busy with social players but we managed to get some good projects done. There was plenty of work to be done after our Easter break and the wild weather that followed that brought down a lot of loose timber.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Mick Grant, Steve Robinson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, path maintenance, loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, mulching of gardens at the front of the Clubhouse, clean up of rubbish in the car parks, maintenance of the water feature at the BBQ area, tidy of gardens at the 2nd ladies tee, 3rd and 5th tees, 6th tee garden maintenance, planting in of donated plants into our gardens, cleaning of bush toilets at the 14th and tidy up of pathway and loose timber, tidy up of garden behind the 10th tee.
We all put in a good mornings work and appreciated our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.
