The weather forecast of showers followed by storms was spot on today.
The course was busy with CCWGA Ladies Open Day.
We had 11 volunteers today which allowed us to do some catch up projects.
On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Mick Grant, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Lyn Bates, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on were rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, tree maintenance, Firewood preparation, hedge maintenance, tidy up and new plants in at the 8th Tee garden, tidy up ob gardens at the 2nd and 3rd tees, more work on tidying up the 15th streletzia garden, tidy up of weeds at the front of clubhouse gardens.
We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches under cover of the clubhouse while the showers increased.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
