The weather today was kind to us as the heat was controlled by a nice breeze that made it bearable on the course. Our playing partner today was Steve Turner accompanied by Geraldine Turner who was our cheer squad and bunker raker. They were great company and Steve enjoyed some good pars. I finished with the same ball I started with after negotiating the water safely however found some unfortunate bunkers and 3 putts.
The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Single Stableford.
We had 63 starters with 4 visitors from NTPGC, Overseas and Cromer.
Against the normal trend the girls won the first three places in the Medley Stableford Event.
