Garden at the 2nd Ladies Tee in pristine condition thanks to F-Trooper Lyn Bates
After a night of heavy rain and threatening showers it was good to see so many volunteers turn up to work on our projects today.
On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Bev Way, Lyn Bates, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, tree maintenance, clean up of front car park, hedge maintenance, tidy up of garden at the 2nd tee, more work done cleaning up the streletzia garden at the 15th tee, dead heading agapanthus flowers around the course, weed removal from paths, tidy up of 6th tranquility garden.
We were lucky enough to only have very light showers during the morning which did not prevent us from working.
Morning tea of fresh sandwiches was very much appreciated after a hard mornings work.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
