F- Troop Morning Tea - Don Nicholls, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, Duncan Dyer, (John Hollebon, Dave Scifleet, Ron Gowing, Jan Martin)
We had another chilly morning start but it was not as windy as Sunday thankfully. The course was very busy with an 8 o’clock shotgun start Charity Day.
On hand we had 10 volunteers - Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Rob Benson, Kevin O’Brien, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Dave Scifleet, Ron Gowing and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course (and there was plenty of that after the weekend wild wind), firewood loading and delivery, repairs to the F- Troop containers, transporting and laying down gravel to the wood storage yard, weeding around the yellow magnolia tree, hedge maintenance, cleaning the paths around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, putting greens and practice nets, more weeding of the 7th tee garden, watering the new plants in the clubhouse gardens.
We were happy to have a nice sunny spot to enjoy our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.
