F- Troop Morning Tea - Peter Martin, Kevin O’Brien, Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, David Medcalf, Paul Smith, John Hollebon, Trevor Harrison (Jan Martin)
The light showers this morning did not put us off from our volunteer work today.
We had 9 volunteers which meant we could get some good work done. The field was full of vets players today - 160 starters I believe.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Paul Smith, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, David Medcalf and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, firewood preparation, loose timber and rubbish pick up around green course, hedge maintenance, weeding of gardens and clubhouse maintenance.
Thankfully the sun emerged and we could enjoy our morning tea in comfort.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Sadly today we heard of the passing of John Van Donk.
- one of our long time members.
I will pass on information of his funeral arrangements when they come to hand.
