On painting duties
Paths between 1st and 10th cleaned
Centre garden at the 10th tee
Weeded, trimmed, hedge plants replaced and trimmed
Mandevilla plants replenished with potting soil
And new Mandevilla plant added
Rubbish pick up at the 1st tee
We had another good weather day for our F-Troop projects. The staff were doing maintenance on the greens, professional arborists were removing trees on the fairways so we worked around them.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Paul Smith, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Sam Knox and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Firewood preparation, hedge maintenance, rubbish pick up and whipper snipping, tidy up of paths around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, planting in of new Mandevilla plant and topping up the pots with potting mix, removing rubbish and weeds from the gardens at the 1st and 10th tees ready for future mulching, painting of the sand bucket frames.
Fresh sandwiches for morning tea were most appreciated as the weather was very humid and we were ready for a rest after a hard mornings work.
