From the 6th Native garden today

We had a bit of a chilly start for the day this morning but it did not deter thirteen of our volunteers.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Paul Smith, Nigel Asken, Adrian Burke, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Steve Robinson and Jan Martin.

The course has substantially dried up which meant we could get our heavy vehicles out on the course. 

The Vets were playing on the course today so it was very busy with golfers.

Projects worked on today were Rubbish and loose timber pickup around the course, tree maintenance, trimming of shrubs and path maintenance at the 11th Tee, repair of steps at the 8th tee, removal of weeds from the dam, removal of weeds from the 6th Native Garden.

The day had warmed up by morning tea so we enjoyed our fresh sandwiches while soaking up some lovely sunshine.
