F- Troop Morning Tea - John Hollebon, Kevin O’Brien, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Don Nicholls, Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox (Jan Martin)
18th Tee Garden finally “finished” - not sure how long it will stay good for with the high winds we have been suffering but it is good to see it tidy for the moment.
Early rain and freezing cold winds did not deter us from our projects today. We were able to get to the wood yard which was good news for our wood deliveries and wood preparation.
The only good thing was the winds will help dry out the course.
We had 9 volunteers today which was great given the conditions.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Fire Wood preparation, wood delivery, Hedge Maintenance, plumbing repairs, clean up at the BBQ area, Clean up of paths under the clubhouse and in front of the clubhouse, Wedding Garden, Putting Green and Practice nets, final clean up of garden at the 18th tee.
It was difficult to find a warm sunny place for morning tea but we did appreciate our fresh sandwiches after a hard mornings work.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
