F-Troop Morning Tea - Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, John Hollebon, Nigel Asken, Kevin O’Brien, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, Adrian Burke, Di Beechey (Jan Martin)
A chilly morning start turned into a nice sunny day to work on our projects.
We had twelve volunteers this morning.
On hand were Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Nigel Asken, Adrian Burke, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up around the course, practice nets repairs, removal of weed from the 3rd dam, undercutting of trees and removal of off cuts, clean out of garden bins at the practice nets, firewood delivery, clean up underneath the clubhouse and paths down to the 1st and 10th tees including paths at wedding garden and practice nets, hedge maintenance, weeding of gardens at the 2nd green garden, 3rd and 5th tees and the 6th tranquility garden.
We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches in the sunshine after a good mornings work.
Today was Di Beechey’s last day at F-Troop sadly for me. Di has been my right hand girl at F-Troop for many years and I will miss her help in the gardens. Di is leaving after 19 years of golf at Gosford and we wish her all the best.
