Just in time for the big wet coming this week.

We had a huge day at F-Troop today with many projects to work on.

We had twelve volunteers which was very helpful for our heavy tasks.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Frank Potter, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Nigel Asken, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, hedge maintenance, rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, clean out of the drains on the 7th and the 6th and 14th fairways, tidy up underneath the clubhouse, paths to the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, clean up of gardens at the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and bike garden, removal of wire fence between the 3rd and 5th Mens Tee, loading up for firewood deliveries next week, cleaning of the bush toilets, tidy up of greenspace gardens at the 14th.

Morning Tea was very welcome after a hard mornings work.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
