New vertical garden in place at the 1st tee donated by F-Trooper Ron Gowing.
This morning we had 12 volunteers to contribute to our projects.
On hand was Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Toddy, Steve Robinson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Nigel Asken, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Tree Maintenance at the back of the clubhouse, tidy up of car park, loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, hedge maintenance, installation of vertical garden at the 1st tee, tidy up underneath the clubhouse, tidy up of paths in front of clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, tidy up of Camellia Way from the 17th to the 18th, cleaning of the bush toilets, tidy up of the greenspace gardens at the 14th, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden.
We were ready to appreciate Morning Tea of fresh sandwiches after a hard mornings work in very humid heat.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
