We had 11 volunteers today to help with our projects.
On hand were Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Tree Maintenance along the 1st fairway, rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, Clean up of rubbish in the car parks and under the clubhouse, cleanup of paths at the front of the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, planting in of white agapanthus at the putting green gardens, tidy up of the Camellias on the 17th and 18th, hedge maintenance, weeding of gardens at the 3rd Men’s Tee and the 5th Men’s Tees including mulching, dead heading of agapanthus at the 5th green garden, cleaning of the bush toilets including raking paths and ant treatment.
It was another very humid day so we appreciated morning tea of fresh sandwiches supplied by the club.
