We were lucky to get an early start today as the day heated up quickly.
We had twelve volunteers this morning which was very helpful as we had some big projects on.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, Don Nicholson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish collection around the course, cleanup of the side ditch at the back of the clubhouse, Hedging of the big hedge at the 18th, tidy up of paths around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, practice green, wedding garden and practice nets, weeding and watering of gardens at the front of the clubhouse, tidy up of the succulent garden at the 2nd and removal of garden rubbish, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden, cleaning of the bush toilets.
We worked up a good appetite and appreciated morning tea.
