The chilly breeze kept us on our toes today and it was great to see 15 volunteers turn up today to face the windy weather which was a good effort by our F-Troopers.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Geoff Hulls, Sam Knox, Rob Benson, Chris Foster, Nigel Asken, Adrian Burke, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course (massive pick up today after all the wind) firewood preparation, hedge maintenance, path and garden tidy up at the wedding garden, practice nets, 1st and 10th tees and around the clubhouse, removal of weed from the dams, cleaning of bush toilets, tidy up of Agave plants at the 14th greenspace gardens, watering of plants in the greenspace gardens, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden.
Morning tea was well deserved by our volunteers this morning after a hard 3 hours work.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
