Gosford travelled to Kooindah Waters this week and took on the might of Magenta. Magenta’s A grade players are all under 2.5 Handicap and their B and C grade are very experienced but Gosford stood up.
A Grade won 4 ½ to 2 ½
B Grade won 2 to 1
C Grade won 2 to 1
There were some great comebacks by several of our players but a special mention to Mark Hiley who won his match this week 6 and 5 after a great win last week 7 and 6.
We also meet our mystery man Edward Hunter. The boys in the Pro shop told me he could play but he plays every morning before sunrise so he has never been seen. I have provided Edwards picture for all to see. I didn’t know much about Edward so I threw him in the deep end and played him at number 1. Edward played great and only went down to Magenta’s top gun on the last hole.
Well done boys. Bring on Toukley Oukley next week.
