We had perfect weather to work on our projects today with 11 volunteers including a very welcome new member Chris Foster.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Nigel Asken, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Chris Foster, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up around the course, firewood preparation, firewood delivery, hedge maintenance, removal of weed from the dams, tidy up of gardens around the clubhouse, planting in of new plants at the 18th donated by Ron Gowing, weeding of the wedding garden, cleaning of the bush toilets, deadheading of agapanthus at the 14th green space garden, dead heading of agapanthus at the back of the 5th green, dead heading of agapanthus at the 14th green garden, weed control at the 14th bush toilets, 6th tee and 15th tee, tidy up of 6th tranquility garden.
We all appreciated morning tea after a hard mornings work.
