An early start was a good idea as it got very hot by morning tea time.
We had 12 volunteers this morning and we had plenty of projects on hand to keep us busy.
Projects worked on today was loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, a massive rubbish pick up around the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, clean up of front gardens and BBQ Garden, tidy up at the 18th tee gardens, tidy up broken hedge at the front steps, general hedge maintenance, firewood preparation, removal of weed from the dams, cleaning of the bush toilets, a start made on deadheading the agapanthus, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden and watering the pots, removal of fallen staghorn from the decimated garden at the 2nd green, partial weeding of the 4th tee garden.
Morning tea was appreciated after a solid morning’s work.
