F - Troop Morning Tea - Kevin O’Brien, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Sam Knox, Steve Robinson, Nigel Asken, Rob Benson, Duncan Dyer, (Di Beechey and Jan Martin, Steve Hogg)
We were happy to have our early start today to avoid working in the heat. We managed to navigate ourselves around all the Public Holiday Golfers - both competition and social players.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Nigel Asken, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin which was an excellent attendance given it was a Public Holiday.
Projects worked on today were Loose Timber and Rubbish Pick Up around the course, Removal of weed from the dams, preparation of firewood, clean up around the clubhouse, paths to the 1st and 10th Tee, wedding garden area and practice nets, watering of gardens where possible including the 4th tee hedge, removal of weed from the 5th tee garden, cutting back and poisoning tree suckers at the 17th, cleaning the bush toilets, watering pots at the 6th tranquility garden, planting in more ground cover plants at the 6th native garden.
We were happy to enjoy our morning tea after a hot mornings work.
