We had a beautiful spring day and not a huge field of golfers on the course which allowed us to complete some good projects.

On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Steve Hogg, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were trimming of trees and shrubs on the 1st and 10th tees, loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, tidy up around the clubhouse, clean up of paths at the 1st and 10th, wedding garden and practice nets, maintenance of the honour boards in the clubhouse, painting of the traffic lines at the front entrance, removal of aloe Vera flower shoots at the 2nd green and 3rd ladies tee, start of mulching at the 2nd green garden, cleaning of the bush toilets, watering pots and tidy up of the tranquility garden at the 6th tee, a start made on weeding of the wedding garden succulent garden, tidy up of gardens at the front of the clubhouse, trimming of hibiscus trees, completion of timber edges at the grass gardens at the 15th ( timber edges donated by Duncan Dyer).

Morning tea in the sunshine was appreciated after a hard mornings work.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
